We build new doors and drawer fronts in the shop, in any style we offer on full custom work: shaker, slim shaker, flat slab, even inset conversions where the frames allow it. Frames and end panels get wrapped or skinned to match, hinges and slides get upgraded to soft-close, and new hardware finishes the change.
Refacing makes sense when the boxes are plywood or solid wood and the layout already works. When it does not, we will tell you straight and point you at a full custom kitchen instead, with real numbers for both.
Refinishing: same doors, new finish
Solid wood doors with good profiles deserve a second finish, not a dumpster. We remove doors and drawer fronts, strip and prep them in the shop, and spray a catalyzed finish that outlasts anything brushed in a garage. Shop-sprayed refinishing is the difference between a paint job that chips at the corners in a year and a finish that still wipes clean in ten.
