Rift white oak everywhere
The straight, calm grain of rift-cut white oak has become the signature of new Frisco construction: full kitchens, floating vanities, and media walls alike. It reads warm without going rustic, and it pairs with both brass and matte black hardware, which is why it survived long past trend status.
The two-tone kitchen holds
Painted perimeter with a contrasting island, especially deep greens and inky blues against warm whites, is the most requested combination we see. It adds depth without committing the whole room to a color, and it lets the island act like furniture.
Storage over show
The quiet revolution is inside the boxes: drawer stacks replacing base doors, appliance garages clearing counters, pantries with pull-outs instead of deep shelves, and mudroom drop zones treated as seriously as the kitchen. New-build owners upgrading builder boxes tell us the same thing: the house came with cabinets, just not enough cabinet.
